Transport: Barrow-on-Trent village is situated with limited public transport amenities. There is a local bus service every two hours to Derby or a local taxi can be arranged on request.
Delivery of provisions for guests: Assistance can be given with any luggage a guest has if requested.

Due to the age of the property it is only suitable for guests with mobility impairments/ visual/ hearing impairment who are accompanied (o ensure the safety of the guest)

Arrival and Car Parking Facilities:
There is usually plenty of space to the front of the property for parking/dropping off. The parking in the village is all free. The main are to park is a public nook for use by residences and guests. The area in front of the property is tarmac and flat. There is a small area of flat brick paving before the entrance. There is a small step of 15cm at the entrance.

Main Entrance, Reception and Ticketing Area:
The main entrance is 76cm wide with a 14cm step.
The door is a single leaf. The opening in the main reception hallway is 84cm wide leading to the hall of 136cm x 206cm. The flooring is short pile carpet. There are stairs only to the bedrooms from the reception area. The lighting in this area is by tow lamps and a single ceiling light.
You will be greeted at the entrance prior to entering the property. Should you require any specific assistance please inform us prior to your arrival.
Provision for service dogs is possible prior to your arrival.

Guest Areas - Hall, stairs, Landing , Corridors:
The main stairs to the bedrooms leads off from the reception area. There are 12 steps in total, 18cm high, 24cm deep and 74cm wide. There are wooden banisters to provide assistance along the length of the stairs. The stair flooring is short piled carpet. The stairs lead to two landings of width 81cm with short piled carpet flooring. Lighting in this area is by ceiling lights.

Public Area - Sitting room/Lounge:
There is a public lounge off the main reception. The entrance is via a wooden door with a width of 74cm. in the lounge there is a television and tow couches. The flooring is short pile carpet.

Public WC's:
There is a ground floor public toilet that can be accessed from the reception area. The entrance to the toilet is via a wooden door with a width of 74cm.

Dining Room:
The dining room is off the main reception on the ground floor. Access is through a single wooden door with a width of 72cm. the flooring is short pile carpet. There is a single table with 4 chairs that have no arms. The under space of the table is 72cm and the total height of the table is 74.5cm. Menus are available in large print or can be verbally given. Breakfast times are at the guests request but before 11:00am. No music is played within this area. There will be a waitress service provided. Breakfast is included in the total price of the accommodation.

Laundry:
Available on request. Irons and ironing boards are situated in guest rooms.

Bedrooms & Sleeping Areas:
Guest Bedroom 1- Comprises of a double bed, bedside tables, TV, wardrobe, dressing table with chair, easy chair and tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, private en-suite with toilet, shower and basin.
Access to the bedroom is via the first floor landing, the door entrance is 74cm wide.
The bed is a standard double bed with height of 58cm, there is 153cm of free standing space each side of the bed. The flooring is short pile carpet. The en-suite is via a doorway 74cm wide. Free floor within the en-suite is 125cm x 130cm, the shower has a 8cm step into it and its cubicle is 74cm square. The wash basin is 80cm high. The toilet has 10cm free standing space each side. The flooring is laminate wood type.
Guest Bedroom 2- Comprises two single beds, table and chair, chest of drawers, TV, wardrobe, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, ironing board and iron. Access to the bedroom is via the first floor landing , the door entrance is 74cm wide. Flooring is short pile carpet. Free space between twin beds is 104cm. Free space at foot of beds is 89 and 103cm respectively.
Dressing gowns are provided for bathroom use.
Bathroom - Comprises of Bath with shower over, Wash Basin and Toilet. The wash basin is 80cm high, toilet has 86/60 free space to sides. Free standing space is 58cmx150cm and 78cm ceiling height.
